LONDON (Alliance News) - Two Shields Investments PLC on Monday noted the recent rise in its share price and said it is currently in the late stages of discussions surrounding a GBP500,000 fund raise.
Following the statement from Two Shields, which was released in the afternoon, shares were down 13% at 0.10p. Before this, however, shares were up as high as 0.14p.
Shares in Two Shields have increased significantly in February, having ended January at 0.08p.
The issue price for the fundraising is expected to be approximately 0.1p per share and any money raised would be used for existing investments in the Two Shields portfolio, as well as for working capital.
The investment company said there is currently no certainty that these plans will complete and that a further announcement will be issued if the fundraising is finalised.
